Consulting Services, Flood, Forensics/Expert Testimony, Hurricanes/Tropical Cyclones, Insurance/Risk Management, Marine and Coastal Weather, Precipitation, Severe Storms
We conduct research and analysis for plaintiffs and defendants in weather cases involving hail, personal injury, flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes, storm surge, train accidents, automobile accidents, lightning damage, heat waves and winter storms.
Many large firms provide single page, automated, “one-size fits all” weather reports without any personal consultation. In situations where weather conditions are not being disputed and there is no chance that litigation will result from the weather event, that basic information may be all that is needed. However, Mr. Johnson specializes in detailed site-specific analyses and is transparent with regard to principles, methods and practices used. Mr. Johnson has testified hundreds of times during his 40-year career. He stands by his research and will defend his work product during litigation.
The CCM designation is granted only to those who demonstrate a broad background in meteorology together with a detailed knowledge in a particular field of specialization. CCMs must demonstrate exemplary qualities of character and devotion to high professional standards. With more than 10,000 meteorologists in the U.S. working in a variety of media, government and private sector roles, there are only about 250 active CCMs in the world that have earned the Certified Consulting Meteorologists (CCMs) designation for their technical competence, character, and experience.
